Abstract: Exosome is an important intercellular material and information exchange tool. It regulates the tumor microenvironment through the gene and protein signaling, which in turn mediates tumor cell apoptosis, differentiation, angiogenesis and metastasis. The exosome contribute to the development and progression of HCC by a variety of mechanisms. They are closely related to the early diagnosis, drug resistance detection, prognosis evaluation and treatment of HCC. Therefore, the study of the exosome can provide new directions and opportunities for the treatment of HCC.
