Abstract: Neural stem cells are charactered with proliferation,migration and differentiation. The mobilization of endogenous neural stem cells has been a new therapeutic strategy in the central lesion. Recent date suggest that the endogenous neural stem cells can be triggered by administration of several strategies, such as trophic factors and cytokines, environmental enrichment and exercise, hyperbaric oxygen, traditional medicine, and so on. In addition, other endogenous neural cell types usable for central repair are also observered.
