Abstract: Calcium regulation has some association with disease .The serum calcium levels of coronary heart disease and hypertension are lower than the healthy people. The calcium score of atherosclerosis is greater than healthy people. Different cancers show different performance levels of calcium: lung cancer, esophageal cancer and gastric cancer serum calcium levels higher than the healthy people; while the colorectal cancer and breast cancer is lower than that of healthy people. Taking calcium supplements may be helpful for the prevention and cure.
