Abstract: Immunosenescence is one of the most important biological changes occurring during human aging . It affects both innate and adaptive immunity . The impact of aging on innate immunity is less well understood particularly in humans. There are modifications in the number, surface molecules ,cytokines and signal transduction as well as the function of cells of the innate immune system during the ageing process.
